I was first elected to the Board of Directors for DEBRA Canada in 2010. I currently work for TD Insurance Meloche Monnex as a senior advisor, one of Canada’s largest insurance companies. Prior to joining TD Insurance, I worked for IBM Canada and Bell TV, Canada’s largest satellite television provider. I graduated with a degree in Public Administration and Governance from Ryerson University and hold a certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto.
On a volunteer basis, in addition to being on the Board, I have recently been a committee member for One Night Stand – Take a Stand for Children’s Mental Health benefitting the Hincks Dellcrest Centre, and created the Gopalani Family Fund at the Royal Ontario Museum, for children with special needs to visit at no charge. I currently hold a seat on the Board of Directors for the Canadian International Council, Toronto Branch, whose mandate is to promote deeper understanding of international affairs and of Canada’s role in a changing world by providing members with a non-partisan, nationwide forum for informed discussion, analysis and debate. I live with my wife and son in Milton, ON.
